A rustic, laid-back tavern and café, situated opposite the northern exit of Platres village, in a prime location amidst tall trees. With an ideal microclimate, a pleasant coolness, and an on-site trout farm, it serves as a popular stop for visitors that take a walk to the Caledonia Waterfalls. Trout is the house specialty, although you will also find generous portions of souvla (spit-roasted meat) and homemade desserts. The service is friendly but slow—an area that could use some improvement. If your expectations aren't too high, you’ll have a good time.
