On one of Nicosia’s busiest central streets, Spyrou Kyprianou Avenue, a brand-new lounge bar is joining the city’s nightlife. ARESO Nicosia opens on Saturday, December 6, bringing a fresh and stylish vibe to the area.

It sits right next to Sannae, the two spaces are literally divided by a glass wall, and comes from the same team behind Ivory, so expect a familiar energy.

The bar’s philosophy is simple: loud DJ music, great food, strong drinks. Think wines mainly from Cyprus and Greece, classic and signature cocktails, and a solid range of premium spirits. Overall, it promises the kind of fun nights Ivory regulars loved.

Music is at the heart of the concept. ARESΩ plans to host top DJs from the local scene, as well as big names from popular spots in Athens and Halkidiki. Starting in early January, they’ll also introduce a weekly live night (Wednesday or Thursday), featuring a well-known act that will be announced soon.

Fridays and Saturdays are perfect for dinner or drinks, with high tables, sofas and low tables to choose from. Sundays, beginning December 14, will kick off with an early party from 5 p.m., featuring commercial and mostly Greek hits, very much in the spirit of Ivory’s legendary Sundays.

The kitchen currently leans toward Latin American flavors, and from January the menu will grow with plenty of shareable dishes.

The official grand opening is set for Saturday, January 6.
