Although an architect by profession, Giorgos Pachitis brings a modern touch to traditional Cypriot cuisine at the restaurant on the ground floor of his boutique hotel in Lefkara.
Here, you can create your own meze experience, choosing from dishes such as tavas (a traditional meat and vegetable stew), raviolas, and stifado (a rich meat stew with onions), alongside grilled specialities and other home-style cooked dishes.
The menu also includes fresh salads and inventive appetisers, such as feta and kefalotyri saganaki (pan-fried cheese), chicken liver with honey, and beef liver with Commandaria. House 1923 offers familiar Cypriot flavours with a contemporary twist.
