In the eastern suburn of Germasogeia in Limassol, AYA Cooks is the kind of dining spot that feels both modern and soulful. The kitchen is led by Barcelona-based Spanish chef Ronit Stern—whose previous project, La Balabusta, earned a place in the Michelin Guide 2023—alongside Crimea-born chef Aleksei Bagreev who together, bring a modern Mediterranean–Middle Eastern gastronomic approach to your plate.

The menu celebrates fresh and fermented produce, oven-baked breads, open-fire cooking and natural wines, with dishes that change with the seasons and carry plenty of character. The space itself is part of the experience: minimal yet warm, brought to life by street-art works from Cypriot artist YETI and sounds by DJ Amathus (of the Aparapira Parape Duo). Everything is served on handcrafted ceramic plates from the well known Nicosia ceramics studio “Eye of She Pottery.”
